Ross James Tocher
President, Chief Executive Officer and Director
Mr. Tocher has over 30 years' experience managing investment strategies for a variety of family holding companies with interests in different industries. He was a co-founder and director of the group of affiliates of Gateway Casinos Ltd., which sold for $1.4 Billion in November 2007. Mr. Tocher co-founded Brew King Ltd., a manufacturer of commercial and consumer wine-making concentrates that achieved worldwide sales before being sold for $22 Million in 1997 to Andres Wines Ltd., the fifth largest non-commercial wine producer in North America. He has experience as a director with Gateway Investment Fund Ltd. and several other private equity companies, including Trian Equities Ltd.
Barb Welsh
Director
Barb Welsh is the President and founder of Welsh Sales Solutions Ltd., and has a Marketing Background and was the top radio sales person in Canada for over 25 years. She rose to the top at Pattison Group, Rogers Group, and her biggest success was as top sales person at the WIC group (now Corus) where she sold advertising for CKNW, CFMI (Rock101), CFOX, and CKLG along with selling the play by play for The Vancouver Canucks, BC Lions, and The Vancouver Grizzlies. She has since amassed a large base of national advertising clientele in Canada and abroad. Since 2002, Barb has specialized introducing and integrating non-traditional media into marketing and advertising plans. From digital-out-of-home to mobile media, Barb has become a recognized national player, with expertise in identifying the right medium to reach any demographic. Barb believes her success is directly related to her company focusing on sales and revenue while others have concentrated on the technology and hardware aspects. Her company's main focus continues to produce revenue for digital screens and holds exclusive contracts to deploy advertising on the most successful Out of Home Video Networks in Canada and the US.
Brian Petersen
Director
Mr. Petersen has been in the investment banking business for 18 years including 16 years with RBC Capital Markets in Toronto, Ontario., Calgary, Alberta., and Houston, Texas. He has been an adviser to numerous publicly traded companies in Canada, the United States and internationally, and has been involved in over $20-billion of mergers and acquisitions and more than $23-billion of equity financings.
Mr. Petersen holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of British Columbia, and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation
