The Client

Walmart Inc. is a multinational retail corporation that operates a chain of supercenters, discount department stores, and grocery stores. Walmart is one of the world’s largest companies and has over 10,000 stores in 24 countries. Walmart USA is the company’s largest division, accounting for over half of total sales.

The Problem

Walmart USA was seeking ways to enhance their customers’ in-store shopping experience while also increasing brand loyalty. They were looking for solutions to help customers better navigate the store and locate products as well as the ability to automate tasks normally performed by sales associates. In addition, Walmart USA was looking to increase revenue through highly targeted marketing tactics that intuitively matched in-store promotions to customer demographics.

The Solution

Our proprietary software system offered Walmart customers a number of self-serve features to better navigate and find in-store products. Self-serve solutions have increased customer satisfaction and allowed Walmart to reduce in-store staffing costs. Built-in facial recognition features combined with our powerful content management system allowed Walmart to capture customer demographics and hyper-match ad campaigns. Our highly customizable software improved Walmart’s customer experience and sales revenue through built-in apps promoting store flyers, coupons, and recipes.
